Dr (Miss) SARABJEET KAUR JAGPAL is presently working as the Principal of KHALSA PUBLIC SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, PORT BLAIR in Andaman
and Nicobar Islands. This school caters to the academic needs of children from underprivileged backgrounds. The Islanders take pride in having her as an asset to society. She is the founder teacher cum Principal of KHALSA PUBLIC SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, PORT BLAIR in Andaman and Nicobar Islands since June 2005. This school caters to the academic needs of children from underprivileged backgrounds. Starting off with only seven students, the school is now well equipped with all kinds of facilities to provide excellent education and groom students for a better future. The school has strength of around 700 students now. Science, Humanities, Sports, and AI are the major subjects taught here. The staff is trained well under the guidance of her. The Islanders take pride in having her as an asset to society. She is a lady of substance with an ethereal personality who fought with all the oddities of her own life. She completed her schooling at the elite Hartmann College in Bareilly and pursued further education at Bareilly College, Uttar Pradesh. Her indomitable strength of helping the needy is a perfect example of selfless service.
She gives all her quality time to each and every child irrespective of caste, creed, or religion. Students and Parents love her compassionate way of dealing with stress. She goes out of her way to help the needy in the Andaman Islands. She visits the homes of students to help them cope with relentless anxiety and renders free services to prepare for the Board exams . She is a great quiz master and prepares students for quizzes and debates . The school has NCC Wings , namely NCC Army and NCC (Navy) , whereby, girls form a wonderful part .
From the online platform, my.gov.in, she is recognized with the badge “ CHANGEMAKER”. She writes patriotic skits and poems for radio and television , Port Blair stations .She is also the Secretary of CBSE Sahodaya , Port Blair chapter . Being a tireless and a workaholic Principal , she keeps her mind relaxed with Vipassana Meditation. She is a walking powerhouse of Knowledge . Her perseverant and diligent nature makes arduous tasks look easy . Seeing her work round the clock makes one believe in her spirit of executing the onus to shape the lives of the downtrodden. She is an inspiration for the millions already .Whosoever meets her , gets captivated to be a part of her team . Her humour keeps everyone joyful .
She is a great Sports enthusiast , therefore , Sports activities take centre stage as part of the school activities . The students are doing incredibly well after passing out from this school. Students of this school have excelled in all scholastic as well as Co Scholastic spheres .They are achievers in Olympiads, VVM exams, NEET / JEE Exams , Chess , Martial Arts , Debates , Cultural competitions .
