Dr. Divya Bharathi, an esteemed Associate Professor at the Ballari Institute of Technology & Management, combines extensive research, academia, and industry expertise in her role. She is committed to innovative teaching methods and mentorship, aiming to inspire and educate management students. Her specialties include marketing, strategy, digital marketing, and lifestyle marketing. Beyond teaching and research, she  is actively involved in consultancy, accreditation, and organizing professional events such as Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), student enrichment programs, seminars, workshops, webinars, and conferences. She also serves as a keynote speaker and article reviewer on national and international platforms.

Before joining academia, she excelled as a Senior Executive Account Manager, demonstrating proficiency in Mobile Advertising Platforms, white-label DSP solutions, Ad Verification, Optimization, and Performance Reporting on DSP and SSPs. Her expertise includes Real-Time Bidding (RTB), Ad Exchange, Campaign Metrics (CPM, CPC, CPI, etc.), Campaign Management, and Optimization. Additionally, she served as a Business Development Lead, handling e-commerce projects, serving as a functional analyst, and managing global clients.

In her administrative roles, she heads the NAAC Criteria 1 – “Curriculum Aspects” Coordination and leads NBA Criteria 7 “Industry and International Connect” Coordination. She is a member of the syllabus framing Board of Studies (BOS) for the Autonomous Institute, coordinates internships and projects, oversees the Incubation Center, and acts as the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) Coordinator. She also manages Scholarship Attestation, ISO, and NIRF documentation, and serves as the Marketing Stream Coordinator and Deputy Chief Supervisor for UG and PG examinations.

She has authored research papers published in Scopus-indexed, SSRN, Elsevier, ABDC, and other reputable journals. She has reviewed articles for IEOM and other esteemed journals and presented her research globally, including in the USA, Malaysia, Zimbabwe, the UK, and India. Her research topics include lifestyle marketing, women’s buying behaviors, retail atmospherics, branding, the sports industry, digital marketing, and responses to COVID-19.
