Sonam Shrivastava, hailing from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is a shining example of perseverance, dedication, and success. She has won numerous prestigious titles, including Mrs. Asia, Mrs. India, Mrs. Beauty Icon of India, and Mrs. Chhattisgarh. Despite facing significant personal challenges, she has made remarkable strides in her professional and personal life, becoming a role model for many.

From a young age, she exhibited a passion for education and social service. She began her journey in the educational sector as a teacher and eventually rose to the position of Principal at Dream India School, Abhanpur. In addition to her role as a principal, she also runs Pathshala Coaching Classes as its Director. Her dedication to education extends beyond her professional responsibilities, as she is an active social activist advocating for girls’ education and women’s empowerment.

Her commitment to teaching began early in her life. When she was in the eighth grade, she noticed that many girls around her were not receiving proper education due to various reasons. Determined to make a difference, she started teaching these girls and continued to do so while pursuing her Ph.D. in English Literature.

Despite these setbacks, her resilience and determination never waned. She continued to strive for her dreams, balancing her professional responsibilities with her personal challenges. In January 2021, she registered for a beauty pageant, aiming to become a beauty icon. However, she faced another significant challenge when she suffered second-degree burns from hot water, causing severe pain and scarring.

Undeterred by her physical scars and the pain, she decided to participate in the competition. Her inner strength and determination saw her through, and she emerged victorious, winning the title and taking a step closer to her dreams. Her victory inspired many girls and women, making her a beacon of hope and resilience.

Her achievements extend beyond the beauty pageant. She has been recognized as the Best Principal and received the Shiksha Samman award from various vice-chancellors of esteemed universities. In 2021, she won the Mrs. Beauty Icon of India title, organized by the Aarna Foundation in Raipur. She also won the Mrs. India Queen of Hearts East 2021 title in Noida.

Her journey has not been easy, particularly due to the severe damage to her leg, which limits her ability to wear fancy dresses. Nevertheless, her passion and determination have encouraged her to overcome pain and obstacles, even on her final competition day.

Her story is a testament to the fact that women can achieve anything they set their minds to, regardless of the challenges they face. She continues to inspire and motivate many, proving that with resilience and determination, one can overcome any obstacle and achieve their dreams. Her life and achievements are a true example of how one can rise above adversity and become a beacon of hope and inspiration for others.
