Krishnau Prasun Bagchi embarked on his teaching career right after completing his class 10 education. He independently funded his studies, earning a B.Sc. degree followed by a professional course in Marine Radio Telegraphy under the Central Government. Initially employed by a private shipping corporation in Mumbai, he  also pursued his passion for football, participating in the 1st division Football League in Kolkata. His dual interests in sports and science paved the way for a teaching opportunity at a reputed school in Nagaland, where he taught Advanced Mathematics and coached football, igniting a deep-seated passion for education.

Recognized for his effective teaching methods, he  transitioned to full-time teaching in 1995, furthering his academic credentials with a B.Ed and an M.Sc. His commitment to the field is evident from his track record of consistently achieving 100% pass rates in Mathematics. Many of his former students have excelled in diverse professions such as officers, IPS officers, doctors, engineers, lawyers, actors, and football players. Presently, he enriches the academic landscape at G.Rio School, a distinguished CBSE institution in Nagaland. His contributions were acknowledged with the State Level Teachers’ Award in 2007, affirming his significant impact on education in the region.
