His journey reflects a compelling blend of resilience, strategic foresight, and a deep commitment to improving school education through quality content, technology integration, and future-focused learning models.
Born on June 20, 1977, in New Delhi, he was raised in a lower middle-class family where financial resources were modest but values such as discipline, responsibility, and perseverance were deeply ingrained. From an early age, he learned the importance of hard work and accountability—principles that would later form the foundation of his entrepreneurial mindset and leadership philosophy.
He completed his schooling at R.D. Jaipuria Public School and persued Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi. During his college years, he did not limit himself to academics alone. He actively supported the saree business started by his parents in 1995, gaining early exposure to customer engagement, inventory handling, cash flow management, and financial discipline. This hands-on experience provided him with valuable real-world business insights that formal education alone could not offer.
In 1999, he relocated to Odisha to assist his cousin in a large-scale medicine distribution business. While the role added to his operational experience, he soon recognized that it offered limited scope for long-term personal and professional growth. In 2004, he made the decisive choice to return to Delhi, prioritizing ambition and vision over short-term comfort—a turning point that would redefine his career trajectory.
Upon returning, he entered the education sector as a channel partner with NIIT Ltd., working closely with its school division. Over the next five years, he gained in-depth exposure to curriculum delivery, technology-enabled learning, institutional partnerships, and the operational dynamics of school education. This phase proved instrumental in helping him identify critical gaps and opportunities within India’s K12 ecosystem.
Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, he founded Edusoft IT Solutions in 2009. Initially focused on IT education services, skilled manpower, and hardware solutions for schools across Delhi and the NCR, the business quickly earned credibility through reliable delivery and long-term relationship building. In 2011, he took a strategic leap by entering the K–12 publishing domain and formally incorporating the company. With a small team of five members and only eight book titles, the organization achieved a first-year turnover of ₹50 lakh—marking the beginning of a disciplined growth phase.
Today, Edusoft IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. stands as a nationally recognized name in school education. The company has published over 500 titles, sold more than 2 crore books, and positively impacted over 40 lakh students & 20000+ teachers across 5,000+ schools nationwide. Its operations are supported by a robust distribution network of over 850 distributors, a workforce of 80+ professionals, and modern infrastructure spanning approximately 12,000 square feet, backed by strong statutory compliance and quality certifications.
Staying aligned with global education trends, he recently launched Edusoft Robotix Pvt. Ltd., a forward-looking STEM education venture co-founded with Tushar Mohan and David Singh. The initiative reflects his belief that education must evolve beyond rote learning to nurture problem-solving, creativity, and technological fluency among students.
With a current turnover of approximately ₹50 crore and a projected target of ₹100 crore in the coming financial year, he continues to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose—setting benchmarks for sustainable growth and future-ready education in India.
