Premasis Bhattacharjee’s life is a remarkable journey of dedication, compassion, and selflessness. Born on July 2, 1972, in Kolkata, he spent his childhood in the city and his ancestral house in Natun Kalipur, Krishnanagar, Nadia, West Bengal. His story is a testament to the power of hard work, perseverance, and a deep sense of social responsibility. After completing his BA from Calcutta University in 1994, he specialized in Physiotherapy from SAI and began his career as a Physiotherapist.

His entrepreneurial journey took off when he founded SAP Group and established 10 companies, creating numerous employment opportunities. His belief that “in business, a backup should always have another backup” has guided his approach, ensuring the growth and success of his ventures. The companies under SAP Group include Workforce Advisory Pvt Ltd., SAP Advisory Services Pvt Ltd., Workforce Business Management Pvt Ltd., SAP Interiors & Design Pvt Ltd., Sweet Happy Journey Tour & Travels Pvt Ltd., Sri Sai Event Management Pvt Ltd., Avirajvi Infrastructure Pvt Ltd., SAP Associates LLP, SAP Infrastructure, and SAP Webmark. These companies have not only contributed to the economy but also provided valuable opportunities for many individuals to build their careers.

In addition to his business acumen, Bhattacharjee has dedicated much of his life to social causes. In 2011, he founded the Krishnagar Natun Kalipur Cultural & Welfare Society (KNKCWS), an organization focused on supporting orphaned children, tribal communities, handicapped individuals, and elderly homes. His efforts were particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he expanded his charitable work to help those most affected by the crisis.

In recognition of his contributions, Bhattacharjee has received numerous awards, including the Rashtriya Atal Puraskar and International Atal Award in 2023, Bengal Business Samman and International Business Icon Award in 2024, Rashtriya Padma Bhushan Samman and International Peace Ambassador Award in 2024. He also received an Honorary Doctorate from the Well Education & Peace Council in 2024, further cementing his legacy. In addition, he served as the President of the Rotary Club of Sonarpur in 2021-2022 and became a member of the World Human Rights Protection Commission in 2024. His leadership and selflessness have made him a respected figure in both the business and social welfare sectors.
