Dr. Monika is an esteemed Associate Professor in the Department of Education at BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat, Haryana. With a career marked by dedication and scholarly excellence, she has significantly contributed to the field of education.

Currently, she  specializes in the Teaching of English, Contemporary Issues in Indian Education, Educational Psychology, Research Methodology, Educational Research, Higher Education, and ICT. Since her appointment on February 27, 2022, she has been an influential figure in her department, shaping the minds of future educators with her extensive knowledge and experience.

Her journey at BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya began as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, where she served from February 27, 2009, to February 27, 2022. Prior to that, she held positions as a Lecturer in Teaching of English at BPS College of Education from February 1, 2006, to February 26, 2009, and as an Assistant Professor in English at BPS Memorial Degree College from July 15, 2003, to March 15, 2004.

In addition to her teaching and research, she  has been actively involved in administrative work and community engagement. She has organized and presented at numerous seminars and conferences, delivering extension lectures on topics like personality development, the role of ICT in education, stress and time management, and the role of education in women’s empowerment. Her expertise has led her to chair technical sessions at national seminars and conferences, further establishing her as a respected voice in the field.

Her scholarly contributions are extensive. She has presented 30 papers at various national and international seminars and conferences, and published 40 research papers and articles in international journals. Her work also includes chapters in books on teaching English and quality in higher education.

Her commitment to professional development is evident through her participation in seven extension lectures and 15 workshops. She organized a three-day workshop on personality development and has supervised 30 M.Ed., M.A. (Education), and M.Phil. dissertations. Currently, she is supervising five Ph.D. candidates in education, fostering the next generation of educational researchers.

She  has continuously sought to enhance her skills and knowledge through various training programs. She has attended numerous orientation, refresher, and faculty development programs, including those sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya.

Her professional affiliations reflect her commitment to educational research and development. She is a life member of the All India Association for Educational Research, a member of the Global Educational Research Association, and a member of the International Professional Development Association. Additionally, she holds training for the British English certificate, demonstrating her dedication to maintaining high standards in her field.

Her contributions to the academic community and her unwavering commitment to her students and colleagues highlight her as a distinguished educator and scholar.
